Do what I do. That's right blogging. Blogging is a great way to promote your website and drive traffic to it. Find a blogging site. Blogger and Wordpress are two of the most popular blogging sites. Create a niche. It would be obvious to create a blog that is relevant to your site. So do just that and set up a domain name that is also related to the site that you want to promote. Make sure to write good, quality content in your blog. You want your readers to maintain interest so make sure to write a post to your blog at least once a day or a couple of post a week. You want them to keep coming back and that is a key point. The more people that see your blog the more you're able to promote your website, so now the question is how do I bring traffic to my blog. Well that's simple. Make sure to get your blog pinged at several blog pinging services like pingoat or pingomatic. These services will help your blog get indexed on search engines which will bring traffic. Add your blog on blog directories like Zimbio and other blog traffic sites like BlogExplosion. You can also visit other people's blog and make a few comments and start creating links with other people's blogs. The more backlinks you receive the more traffic you get. Don't forget to set up an RSS Feed on My Yahoo. Whenever you add a new post to your blog, it will automatically get spidered and added on Yahoo.
